Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NVC Digital (“NVC Digital”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit nvcdigital.in or contact us through it. We have written it to describe what this website actually does.

Last updated:

1. Who we are

NVC Digital operates this website and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email sk@nvcdigital.in.

2. Personal data we collect

Information you give us through our enquiry forms:

  • your name and email address (required);
  • your phone number and company website (optional);
  • the service you are interested in and any message you write;
  • your confirmation that we may contact you about your enquiry.

The form also records which page and form you used, and the time of submission.

Information collected automatically:

  • Our web server and hosting provider record standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, for security and to keep the site running.
  • To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we keep a short-lived record of recent submissions linked to a one-way, non-reversible code derived from your IP address. These records are kept for about one hour and are used only to limit repeated submissions.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as financial account details, government identifiers or health information through this website.

3. How we use your personal data

  • To respond to your enquiry — reviewing your request, replying by email or phone, and preparing a proposal if you ask for one.
  • To keep a record of enquiries — so that a request is not lost if an email fails, and so we can follow up on conversations you started.
  • To protect the website — detecting and preventing spam, abuse and security incidents.
  • To understand and improve the website — using aggregated analytics, only if you have allowed analytics cookies.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that affects you. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your separate, explicit agreement.

4. Consent and legal basis

We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

When you submit an enquiry form, you give consent for us to use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. Technical data needed to operate and secure the website is processed for those legitimate purposes. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sk@nvcdigital.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the website — for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and whether an enquiry form was submitted. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type. Until you allow analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics runs in a restricted, cookieless mode and does not set analytics cookies. We do not send your name, email, phone number or message to Google Analytics.

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask you again on every page. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, or by clearing your browser’s site data.

This website does not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

6. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as needed for the purposes above:

  • our website hosting provider, which stores the website and the server logs;
  • our email service provider, which delivers enquiry notifications to our team and handles our email correspondence;
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics (only with your consent);

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order or a competent government authority, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

7. Where your data is processed

Some of our service providers, including Google, may process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate security measures, and transfers are made in accordance with Indian law, including any restrictions notified by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.

8. How long we keep personal data

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting conversation or business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as necessary for our legitimate business records or to meet legal obligations. Rate-limiting records are kept for about one hour. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry details at any time — see your rights below.

9. How we protect personal data

We use reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the data we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the whole website, restricted access to stored enquiries, server-side validation and spam protection on forms, and security headers that reduce common web attacks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly, including notifying affected people and authorities where required by law, if a breach occurs.

10. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and applicable rules, you have the right to:

  • obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • ask us to erase personal data that is no longer needed;
  • withdraw consent you have given;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
  • have your grievances addressed.

To exercise any of these rights, email sk@nvcdigital.in from the address you used to contact us, or tell us how we can verify your request.

11. Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at sk@nvcdigital.in with the subject line “Privacy grievance”. We will acknowledge and respond to your grievance within the time required by applicable law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is available to you under the DPDP Act and its rules.

12. Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our forms, please contact us so we can delete it.

Our website may link to other websites, such as social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
